Andreas Oswald (alias Andy Eastwood of the 80s rock band "Human Radio") was born in Zurich in 1962 and emigrated with his parents to the USA in California. In 1968, he discovered his father's guitar and began his long musical journey.
He has studied (including master classes) with some of the most famous musicians in the world. Among others Paco de Lucia (1979), Robert Sullivan (1981 - 1984), William Thomas McKinley (1981), George Allen Russel (1982) and Mick Goodrick (1984). Andy studied music at the "New England Conservatory of Music" in Boston MA, where he also founded his band "Human Radio".
Andy is a true all-rounder when it comes to the guitar. He masters both the electric and acoustic guitar and plays in the following styles: Classical, Flamenco, Blues, Rock, Funk and Jazz.
Andy teaches beginners (including children from the age of 8) to advanced players of all ages in German, English and Spanish. His lessons are primarily geared towards the needs of his students. They range from learning the basics to improvisation, different techniques and styles to preparing and performing studio jobs or live gigs. He can also prepare you to study music at a university or conservatory. You can benefit from his wealth of experience.
